This policy applies to version 1.0 of the native iPhone app Cross-Border Profit Assistant. The current app behavior controls.
1. Overview
Cross-Border Profit Assistant is a business calculation tool that runs locally on your device. Version 1 does not require an account, connect to a developer-operated cloud server, include advertising or third-party analytics SDKs, or track you across apps.
2. Data Processed Locally
Product names, purchase prices, sale prices, exchange rates, commissions, packaging and other costs, weights, dimensions, shipping templates, and the resulting calculations are stored in the app container on your device. Default currency, exchange rate, commission percentage, and volumetric divisor are also stored locally.
This information is used only to perform calculations you request, display history, and prefill your defaults. The app does not upload it to the developer.
3. Information We Do Not Actively Collect
The app does not actively collect names, phone numbers, email addresses, precise or approximate location, contacts, photos, camera or microphone content, device identifiers, advertising identifiers, browsing history, or activity from other apps. The app does not require you to provide this information.
Do not enter customer names, order numbers, contact details, or other unnecessary personal information in free-text fields such as the product name.
4. Tracking, Advertising, and Third-Party SDKs
The app does not track you across apps or websites, request App Tracking Transparency permission, display ads, or integrate advertising, analytics, crash-reporting, or social SDKs.
5. CSV Export and System Sharing
The app creates a CSV file in the device's temporary directory only after you request an export, then presents Apple's system share sheet. The app does not automatically select a recipient or send the file to the developer. Any app or service you choose handles the shared copy under its own privacy policy.
6. Retention and Deletion
You can delete individual calculations or shipping templates. You can also use More → Default Settings → Clear Local Data and complete two consecutive confirmations to remove calculations and templates and reset defaults.
Uninstalling the app normally removes data in its local app container. System backups, exported files, and copies shared to another app may be managed by Apple, you, or that service under their respective rules. Export anything you need before clearing data or uninstalling.
7. Security
The app relies on the iOS sandbox and device security features to protect local data. No local storage can be guaranteed to be completely secure; use a device passcode and keep control of your device.
8. Children's Privacy
The app is intended for business calculations, is not directed specifically to children, and does not ask users of any age to submit personal information.
9. Changes to This Policy
If a future version changes how data is handled, we will update this policy and the App Store privacy information and obtain consent when legally required. The updated policy will show a new effective date.
